Young Adults
We are a community of young adults who live and work in Portsmouth and long to draw closer to Jesus through His Word and His Spirit. We work in a range of places and industries, including teaching, the health care service, the armed forces and the private sector. Whilst we have young adults who go to all our services, most of them find their home at the evening service, the 7. We have regular socials, sometimes with the students and sometimes without. We’d love to meet you and get to know you!
What do we offer?

The 7
This service is relaxed and informal, with extended worship and time in God’s word. All are welcome to this service, but its relaxed atmosphere makes it an ideal home for our students and Young Adults.

Life Groups
Life groups are what we call our small group structure, they are the heart of our ministry as a church.
We encourage our young adults to join a life group with others from across the church family, do get in touch if you’d like to know more.

First Friday
Once a month (on the First Friday) we get together for a social. Each month it’s different - we’ve played crazy golf, had a film night a BBQ and spent time together in the pub. If you’d like to come, you can contact us to find out what’s going on this month (see below) or check out our What’s On page.
Mentoring
We believe that every Christian adult should walk closely with at least two people. One who they are supporting and mentoring, and one who is supporting and mentoring them. We’d love to support you in finding an older member of our church to walk with you on you journey with Jesus, to encourage you and just occasionally to challenge you as well. Speak to us if you want to know more.
Keeping in touch
We have a young adults WhatsApp group where we arrange regular socials and fun things, we’ll add you to this as you become part of our community! You don’t want to miss out on Adam’s bad jokes, and Davita’s regular misunderstandings of English culture!
