We long to see disciples made in all nations and want to join in making this happen through our mission giving.

St Jude’s Church family is committed to giving 10% of our unrestricted income to mission. In 2026, this amounts to £27,662.
Our Mission Support Group:
meets to pray for our mission partners
keeps in touch with our partners and shares their prayer needs with the church
considers how to allocate our financial resources in response to local and international need
supports individuals and charities linked with St Jude’s Church
organises and leads mission-focused Sunday services

Bible Society
Bible Society is a charity on a global mission to bring the Bible to life for everyone. They believe that when people engage with the Bible, lives change for good. They prioritise making the Scriptures available across the world and in the UK through training like the Bible Course.

Church Mission Society
Our Church Mission Society mission partners are Dave and Tricia Rollett who, with their two young boys, are based in Tansania.

Church Pastoral Aid Society
Church Pastoral Aid Society enables churches to help every person to hear and discover the good news of Jesus. It helps churches to find new clergy, supports training for churches and holds summer camps for young people. St Jude’s is supported by CPAS in relation to recruitment of our vicar.

Interserve
Our Interserve mission partners Tim and Rachel Green were based in Malaysia and are currently based in Oxfordshire. Tim heads up Word of Life Ministries for new believers from a Muslim heritage as they grow from first steps into a mature faith.

Overseas Missionary Fellowship
Our Overseas Missionary Fellowship mission partners Rod and Glenda Thomas are based in Sendai, Japan. They are involved in evangelism and Bible teaching as well as both both planting and supporting new congregations.

Spirit in Sport
Spirit in Sport is based in Portsmouth and aims to reach the community for Christ through sport. They connect with people of all ages through sports camps, regular coaching, and sports leagues, as well as organising church and family sporting events.

Tearfund
Tearfund is a Christian charity passionate about ending poverty, working in over fifty of the world’s poorest countries to provide disaster relief, sustainable development and campaigning for economic, climate and social justice.
