Prayer
“Conversation is the lifeblood of any relationship, and prayer is how we converse with God”
At St Jude’s we want to root everything we do in prayer. Being a prayerful church means both encouraging one another in our personal prayer lives as well as providing space for us to pursue God in prayer as a church community.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7

Praying Together
We have regular opportunities to gather together to pray, particularly our “Puddings, Praise and Prayer” evenings, an opportunity to start each term with prayer (as well as puddings!). Check out ‘What’s On’ below for more details. We also pray together in our Life Groups (more info here).

Need Prayer?
On the below form you can submit your own prayer request. Prayer requests will be sent to a couple of the team who will commit to pray for you. If you ask us to be in touch your request will be passed on to the pastoral team.

Personal Prayer
Any church is made up of its members rather than a collection of buildings, and our hope is that we would be a community of people who pray and intercede for ourselves, each other and the world. However you connect, we hope that you will find time and space to draw near to God in prayer.
Be with Jesus
In 2022 we began the year by exploring our discipleship of Jesus. You can click below to listen to the sermon series, and also access the links to the resources mentioned.
